Relavent project experience

Chematane has worked on various projects involving spectroscopic analysis, chemical process development, technical documentation, and data simulation and analysis. Below are examples of recent projects that demonstrate our expertise and approach to consulting.

Projects

Spectroscopy

Water content analysis using FT-NIR Spectroscopy

Method development and validation for quantifying water content in finished drug-product using Fourier Transform Near-Infrared (FT-NIR) spectroscopy. A calibration model is developed using prepared standards with a known amount of water. The model is then validated by comparing the predicted water content from the FT-NIR analysis to the actual water content determined by Karl Fischer titration.

Process Chemistry

Continuous flow chemistry

A process where the reactants are continuously fed into a reactor and the products are continuously removed. This approach can offer advantages in terms of reaction control, safety, and scalability compared to traditional batch processes. Inline analytical techniques such as FT-IR spectroscopy can be used to monitor the reaction in real-time and optimize the process conditions.

Data Analysis

Disease outbreak modelling using python

Disease outbreaks can be modelled using various mathematical and computational approaches to understand the dynamics of disease spread and to inform public health interventions. Python can be used to analyze epidemiological data, fit models to the data, and make predictions about the course of the outbreak. For example, compartmental models such as the SIR (Susceptible-Infectious-Recovered) model can be implemented in Python to simulate the spread of an infectious disease and to evaluate the impact of different intervention strategies.
